STRIKE × Women Management Are Hosting a Model Open Call in Salt Lake City

STRIKE is partnering with Women Management — the globally recognized agency with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and across their Women 360 division to host an open call model search in Salt Lake City. If you've been waiting for a reason to walk through the door, this is it.
The open call takes place Saturday, June 20th from 10AM to 2PM at West Main Studio 1400 S Main St, Salt Lake City, UT 84115. It is free to attend. No experience, portfolio, or comp card required.
What Is an Open Call?
An open call is exactly what it sounds like: an open opportunity to meet modeling agencies in-person, directly. No audition process, no application, no agent. You show up, meet the scouts, and let them see you in person. It is one of the most direct paths to representation in the modeling industry, and it is how a significant number of working models got their start — including faces represented by agencies like Women Management.
Open calls are rare. A joint open call between a Utah-based agency and a globally recognized agency like Women Management is rarer. This is not a casting for a single job. This is a talent search for STRIKE and Women Management and they are genuinely looking for new faces to represent.
Who Should Come?
Women 16 and older. Models under 18 are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.
Height 5'7" and above. If you're close, come anyway. The right look matters more than a half inch.
No experience necessary. In fact, we prefer it. We're not looking for someone who has already been molded. We're looking for something original.
If you have been told your whole life that you should model by friends, by strangers, by anyone this open call is for you.
What to Wear and Bring
Keep it simple. Fitted jeans, a tank top/tee, shorts/skirts, something that fits well and lets you move. Think clean lines, not a fashion moment. The scouts want to see your structure, your proportions, your presence. Let your face do the talking.
Minimal makeup or none at all. This is not the time for a full beat, we want to see you, not your contour.
Wear heels if you have them, even a low block heel. If not, wear something you can actually walk in.
Bring yourself. A comp card is optional. Prior photos are optional. What is not optional is showing up.

How It Works
Attendance is walk-in. No appointment, no pre-registration. Show up anytime between 10AM and 1PM on June 20th at West Main Studio. The process is straightforward: you'll meet with scouts from STRIKE and Women Management, take a few quick photos, and have a brief conversation. The whole thing takes minutes. What happens next depends on what we see.
If you are selected for follow-up, you will be contacted directly. Not everyone who walks in will be right for representation, that is the honest truth of any open call. But you cannot be selected if you are not in the room.
